South Carolina High School Basketball - Aiken routs Midland Valley

In Friday's league contest, the host Aiken Fighting Green Hornets basketball team scored a big 53-27 triumph over the Midland Valley Mustangs.

The Fighting Green Hornets (15-6) will now prepare for their contest against Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC). The War Eagles go into the AAAA Region 4 contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, Gray Collegiate Academy smashed South Aiken (Aiken, SC), 51-17, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 contest, on Monday, February 10. Midland Valley will attempt to better on its 5-18 season record. The Thoroughbreds go into the contest with a 10-11 record after their 51-17 league loss to Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC).
