In Friday's non-league contest, the host Buford Yellow Jackets basketball team scored a good 51-39 triumph over the Central Eagles.

The Yellow Jackets (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against York Prep (Rock Hill, SC). The Patriots go into the AA Region 4 contest with a 0-14 record. In their last contest, York Prep was topped by Chesterfield (Chesterfield, SC), 67-27, in a league contest.
