South Carolina High School Basketball - Southside Christian can't hold off Carolina Academy
February 7, 2025: Simpsonville, SC 29681 Carolina Academy Trojans (Greenville, SC) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Southside Christian Sabres (Simpsonville, SC), 42-38 in a league match.
With the victory, Carolina Academy advances its record to 6-15 on the year. The Trojans host Palmetto (Williamston, SC) to face the Mustangs in a AAA Region 2 match on Tuesday, February 11. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 5-15. Palmetto lost 55-39 in their recent league match against Christ Church Episcopal (Greenville, SC)
The Sabres now own a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Powdersville for a AAA Region 2 match on Tuesday, February 11. Southside Christian will face a Patriots squad coming off a 67-38 league win over St. Joseph's Catholic (Greenville, SC). The Patriots record now stands at 16-7.
