The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Liberty Red Devils (Liberty, SC) and the visiting High Point Academy Grizzlies (Spartanburg, SC), observed Liberty's basketball team edge High Point Academy by a score of 49-45.

The Red Devils (5-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Brashier Middle College Charter (Simpsonville, SC). The Bengal come into the AA Region 1 challenge with a 6-11 record. In their last challenge, Brashier Middle College Charter was tipped by Blacksburg (Blacksburg, SC), 42-33, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Grizzlies battle the Landrum Cardinals (Landrum, SC) in a AA Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. High Point Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-15 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 12-12 record after their 54-24 league win over Chesnee (Chesnee, SC).
