Catholic Crusaders (Virginia Beach, VA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA), 62-57 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Catholic advances its record to 17-8 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Walsingham Academy (Williamsburg, VA) to face the Trojans in a VISAA Division III match on Tuesday, February 11. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 4-15. Walsingham Academy lost 64-24 in their recent league match against Norfolk Academy (Norfolk, VA)

The Warriors now own a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Western Branch for a Southeastern match on Tuesday, February 11.
