Tennessee High School Basketball - David Crockett crushes Dobyns-Bennett
February 8, 2025: Kingsport, TN 37664 The David Crockett Pioneers (Jonesborough, TN) basketball crushed the host Dobyns-Bennett Indians (Kingsport, TN), 48-25 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Pioneers now possess a 24-3 record. They play next when they travel to Tennessee for a 3A District 1 bout on Tuesday, February 11. David Crockett will play a Vikings team coming off a 63-43 league loss to Elizabethton (Elizabethton, TN). The Vikings record now stands at 10-14.
With the loss, Dobyns-Bennett falls to 7-13 on the campaign. The Indians host South Greene (Greeneville, TN) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Monday, February 10. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 7-15. South Greene lost 58-34 in their recent non-league bout against Cocke County (Newport, TN)
