Kentucky High School Basketball - Madison Southern holds off Pineville
February 8, 2025: Pineville, KY 40977 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Madison Southern Eagles basketball team scored a close 49-46 triumph over the Pineville Mountain Lions.
The Eagles (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Corbin (Corbin, KY). The Redhounds go into the non-league contest with a 15-7 record. In their last contest, Corbin nipped Williamsburg (Williamsburg, KY), 95-18, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Mountain Lions confront the South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Pineville will attempt to better on its 8-13 season record. The Cardinals go into the contest with a 19-4 record after their 54-46 non-league win over Campbell County (Alexandria, KY).
