Connecticut High School Basketball - Platt RVT holds off Wolcott RVT
February 9, 2024: Milford, CT 06461 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Platt RVT Panthers (Milford, CT) and the visiting Wolcott RVT Wildcats (Torrington, CT), saw Platt RVT's basketball squad hold off Wolcott RVT by a tally of 62-55.
With the victory, Platt RVT improves its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host Guilford (Guilford, CT) to confront the Grizzlies in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 14. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 6-9.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Amity Regional Spartans (Woodbridge, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 12. Wolcott RVT will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 69-65 non-league loss to East Haven (East Haven, CT).
