February 10, 2023: Sabetha, KS 66534 The Jefferson West Tigers basketball team (Meriden, KS), was overwhelmed 70-32 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Sabetha Bluejays (Sabetha, KS)
The Bluejays now possess a 17-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Perry-Lecompton for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 14. Sabetha will confront a Kaws team coming off a 60-46 non-league win over Nemaha Central (Seneca, KS). The Kaws record now stands at 14-3.
The Tigers (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against Hiawatha (Hiawatha, KS). The Red Hawks come into the non-league battle with a 3-14 record. In their last battle, Hiawatha was overwhelmed by Holton (Holton, KS), 57-42, in a non-league battle.
