Texas High School Basketball - Sam Houston thwarts Lanier
February 10, 2023: San Antonio, TX 78220 The Sam Houston Hurricanes (San Antonio, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Lanier Voks (San Antonio, TX), 68-59 in Friday's league test.
The Hurricanes (14-14) will now prepare for their test against Burbank (San Antonio, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 5A Region IV District 27 test with a 3-23 record.
The Voks now own a 12-19 record. They play next when they travel to Edison for a 5A Region IV District 27 test on Monday, February 13. Lanier will encounter a Golden Bears squad coming off a 38-31 league loss to Jefferson (San Antonio, TX). The Golden Bears record now stands at 6-28.
