South Dakota High School Basketball - Waubay/Summit knocked off by Herreid/Selby
February 10, 2024: Waubay, SD 57273 The Herreid/Selby Wolverines basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Waubay/Summit Mustangs to 36 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wolverines now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] for a B Region 6 contest on Tuesday, February 13. Herreid/Selby will meet a Battlers team coming off a 61-10 non-league win over Pine Ridge (Pine Ridge, SD). The Battlers record now stands at 8-9.
The Mustangs (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Britton-Hecla (Britton, SD). The Braves enter the non-league contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Britton-Hecla was outscored by Clark/Willow Lake (Clark, SD), 69-44, in a non-league contest.
