The Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes (Summerville, SC) basketball edged the host James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC), 54-50 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Swamp Foxes now possess a 18-6 record. They play next when they travel to West Ashley for a AAAAA Region 8 bout on Thursday, February 13. Ashley Ridge will play a Wildcats team coming off a 61-59 league loss to Summerville (Summerville, SC). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-10.

With the loss, James Island falls to 16-8 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Stall (Charleston, SC) to play the Warriors in a AAAAA Region 8 bout on Thursday, February 13.
