South Carolina High School Basketball - Ashley Ridge fells James Island

The Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host James Island Trojans to 42 in the Swamp Foxes league triumph on Tuesday.

The Swamp Foxes now have a 23-1 record. They play next when they travel to West Ashley for a AAAAA Region 8 game on Thursday, February 13. Ashley Ridge will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 62-46 league loss to Summerville (Summerville, SC). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-10.

With the loss, James Island falls to 9-14 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Stall (Charleston, SC) to confront the Warriors in a AAAAA Region 8 game on Thursday, February 13. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 6-15. Stall lost 75-19 in their recent league game against Fort Dorchester (North Charleston, SC)
