In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Chester Yellowjackets basketball team scored a close 37-34 win over the Trico Pioneers.

The Yellowjackets (12-16) will now prepare for their contest against Sparta (Sparta, IL). The Bulldogs come into the Cahokia - Illinois contest with a 7-15 record. In their last contest, Sparta was tipped by Okawville (Okawville, IL), 66-26, in a league contest.
