The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Thayer Central Titans (Hebron, NE) and the visiting Shelby-Rising City Huskies (Shelby, NE), observed Thayer Central's basketball team overwhelm Shelby-Rising City by a score of 59-23.

The Titans (16-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Southern (Wymore, NE). The Raiders come into the C2 District 2 challenge with a 7-14 record.

In their next game, the Huskies encounter the East Butler Tigers (Brainard, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 13. Shelby-Rising City will attempt to improve on its 6-14 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 8-13 record after their 65-18 non-league loss to Cross County (Stromsburg, NE).
