Hardin-Jefferson Hawks (Sour Lake, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears (Orange, TX), 80-29 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hardin-Jefferson upgrades its record to 24-10 on the season. The Hawks travel to Gilmer (Gilmer, TX) to play the Buckeyes in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 15. The Buckeyes go into the bout with a record of 20-13. Gilmer won 44-34 in their recent non-league bout against Bullard (Bullard, TX)
