The North Brunswick Scorpions basketball team (Leland, NC), dropped 56-47 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC)

The Buccaneers now possess a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Topsail for a 3A/4A Mideastern battle on Thursday, February 15. Laney will battle a Pirates team coming off a 81-64 league loss to Ashley (Wilmington, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 6-16.
