North Carolina High School Basketball - Montgomery Central succumbs to Scotland

February 13, 2025: Troy, NC 27371

The Scotland Fighting Scots defeated the host Montgomery Central Timberwolves basketball squad by a final score of 77-59 in Thursday's non-league outing.

Next, the Fighting Scots clash with the Richmond Raiders (Rockingham, NC) in a 3A/4A Sandhills outing, on Friday, February 14. Scotland will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Raiders come into the outing with a 14-8 record after their 67-65 non-league loss to Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC).

The Timberwolves (0-22) will now prepare for their outing against Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Spartans go into the 3A Mid-Piedmont contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, Central Davidson topped Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC), 77-59, in a league contest.
