Virginia High School Basketball - Liberty fells Heritage

February 13, 2025: Bedford, VA 24523

The Liberty Minutemen basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Heritage Pioneers to 45 in the Minutemen league triumph on Thursday.

The Minutemen now have a 18-3 record. They play next when they travel to Rustburg for a Seminole game on Friday, February 14. Liberty will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 39-6 non-league win over Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA). The Red Devils record now stands at 9-10.

With the loss, Heritage falls to 6-14 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Glass (Lynchburg, VA) to confront the Hilltoppers in a Seminole game on Friday, February 14. The Hilltoppers go into the game with a record of 11-7. Glass lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Fleming (Roanoke, VA)
