Wisconsin High School Basketball - Catholic Central overwhelmed by Martin Luther
February 14, 2023: Greendale, WI 53129 The Martin Luther Spartans basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting Catholic Central Hilltoppers to 38 in the Spartans league victory on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Racine Lutheran for a Metro Classic contest on Friday, February 17. Martin Luther will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 60-47 league win over Shoreland Lutheran (Somers, WI). The Crusaders record now stands at 8-13.
The Hilltoppers (4-20) will now prepare for their contest against St. Catherine's (Racine, WI). The Angels come into the Metro Classic contest with a 21-1 record. In their last contest, St. Catherine's triumphed over Dominican (Whitefish Bay, WI), 74-63, in a league contest.
