February 14, 2025: Hillsboro, KS 67063 The Hillsboro Trojans (Hillsboro, KS) basketball crushed the visiting Council Grove Braves (Council Grove, KS), 51-22 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 10-7 record. They play next when they host Hoisington for a Central Kansas bout on Tuesday, February 18. Hillsboro will play a Cardinals team coming off a 63-40 league win over Nickerson (Nickerson, KS). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-11.
With the loss, Council Grove falls to 5-13 on the campaign. The Braves host Clay Center (Clay Center, KS) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 18. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 13-4. Clay Center lost 41-35 in their recent league bout against Wamego (Wamego, KS)
