Kentucky High School Basketball - Woodford County triumphant over Boone County
February 15, 2025: Florence, KY 41042 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Woodford County Yellowjackets (Versailles, KY) and the host Boone County Rebels (Florence, KY), observed Woodford County's basketball team overwhelm Boone County by a score of 67-18.
The Yellowjackets (15-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 11-14 record. In their last challenge, Paul Laurence Dunbar was routed by Madison Central (Richmond, KY), 85-50, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Rebels battle the Lloyd Memorial Juggernauts (Erlanger, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 17. Boone County will attempt to improve on its 1-21 season record. The Juggernauts come into the challenge with a 6-14 record after their 54-51 non-league loss to Trimble County (Bedford, KY).
