Next, the Chaparrals meet the La Vernia Bears (La Vernia, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 14. Westlake will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record. The Bears go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Churchill (San Antonio, TX).
The Mavericks (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Pieper (San Antonio, TX). The Warriors go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Pieper was routed by New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX), 9-5, in a league challenge.
