Kansas High School Basketball - Axtell nips Frankfort
February 17, 2025: Axtell, KS 66403 In Monday's league contest, the host Axtell Eagles basketball team scored a close 57-51 win over the Frankfort Wildcats.
The Eagles (17-1) will now prepare for their contest against Centralia (Centralia, KS). The Panthers come into the Twin Valley contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Centralia edged Linn (Linn, KS), 69-34, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Linn Bulldogs (Linn, KS) in a Twin Valley contest, on Friday, February 21. Frankfort will attempt to better on its 14-6 season record.
