February 17, 2025: Walton, KY 41094 The Bishop Brossart Mustangs (Alexandria, KY) basketball edged the host Walton-Verona Bearcats (Walton, KY), 61-60 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 22-6 record. They play next when they travel to Ryle for a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 19. Bishop Brossart will play a Raiders team coming off a 51-44 non-league loss to North Laurel (London, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 7-21.
With the loss, Walton-Verona falls to 19-7 on the campaign. The Bearcats host John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 19. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 16-10. John Hardin won 82-39 in their recent non-league bout against Washington County (Springfield, KY)
