Wisconsin High School Basketball - Wauwatosa East tops Janesville Craig
February 18, 2023: Janesville, WI 53545 Wauwatosa East Red Raiders (Wauwatosa, WI) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Janesville Craig Cougars (Janesville, WI), 67-58 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Wauwatosa East upgrades its record to 4-16 on the campaign. The Red Raiders travel to Menomonee Falls (Menomonee Falls, WI) to play the Phoenix in a Greater Metro bout on Thursday, February 23. The Phoenix come into the bout with a record of 0-23. Menomonee Falls lost 68-55 in their recent non-league bout against Waukesha South (Waukesha, WI)
Next up, the Cougars play the Madison East Purgolders (Madison, WI) in a Big Eight bout, on Tuesday, February 21. Janesville Craig will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Purgolders come into the bout with a 5-13 record after their 76-32 non-league loss to Brookfield Central (Brookfield, WI).
