February 18, 2025: Dowagiac, MI 49047 Lakeshore Lancers (Stevensville, MI) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Dowagiac Chieftains (Dowagiac, MI), 48-8 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Lakeshore advances its record to 13-3 on the year. The Lancers travel to Portage Central (Portage, MI) to meet the Mustangs in a Southwestern Michigan - West match on Thursday, February 20. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 9-8. Portage Central lost 60-28 in their recent non-league match against Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MI)
The Chieftains now own a 6-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vicksburg for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 25. Dowagiac will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 33-29 league win over Edwardsburg (Edwardsburg, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 18-2.
