The New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Chesterton Academy Saints to 39 in the Roadrunners non-league victory on Monday.
The Roadrunners now sport a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jemez Valley for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 22. New Mexico School for the Deaf will battle a Warriors team coming off a 53-46 league win over Santa Fe Waldorf (Santa Fe, NM). The Warriors record now stands at 14-13.
The Saints (1-14) will now prepare for their contest against Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Eagle come into the non-league contest with a 17-7 record. In their last contest, Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy edged Santa Fe Waldorf (Santa Fe, NM), 67-37, in a league contest.
