February 20, 2024: Madisonville, KY 42431 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) and the host Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons (Madisonville, KY), saw Marshall County's basketball squad overcome Madisonville-North Hopkins by a tally of 67-57.
With the victory, Marshall County improves its record to 20-7 on the campaign. The Marshals travel to Calloway County (Murray, KY) to confront the Lakers in a District 4 challenge on Tuesday, February 27. The Lakers come into the challenge with a record of 17-10. Calloway County lost 87-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Lyon County (Eddyville, KY)
Next up, the Maroons confront the Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 22. Madisonville-North Hopkins will attempt to improve on its 14-15 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 14-12 record after their 65-52 non-league win over Caldwell County (Princeton, KY).
