February 20, 2025: Jewett, TX 75846 Leon Cougars (Jewett, TX) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Wortham Bulldogs (Wortham, TX), 13-1 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Leon advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Buffalo (Buffalo, TX) to battle the Bison in a non-league match on Friday, February 21. The Bison come into the match with a record of 2-1. Buffalo won 12-11 in their recent non-league match against Normangee (Normangee, TX)
The Bulldogs now have a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aggieland HomeSchool for a non-league match on Friday, February 21. Wortham will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 14-2 non-league win over Hubbard (Hubbard, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 1-3.
