The James F. Byrnes Rebels triumphed over the host Hillcrest Rams lacrosse team by a score of 16-6 in Tuesday's non-league match.

With the win, James F. Byrnes betters its record to 1-0 on the season. The Rebels travel to St. Joseph's Catholic (Greenville, SC) to play the Knights in a non-league match on Thursday, February 23. The Knights go into the match with a record of 0-1. St. Joseph's Catholic lost 8-4 in their recent non-league match against Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC)

With the defeat, Hillcrest drops to 0-1 on the season. The Rams travel to Woodmont (Piedmont, SC) to play the Wildcats in a 5A District 1 match on Monday, February 27. The Wildcats go into the match with a record of 0-1.
