In Friday's non-league contest, the host North Star Cougars basketball team scored a good 54-36 win over the Everett Warriors.

The Cougars (19-5) will now prepare for their contest against Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 17-6 record. In their last contest, Chestnut Ridge defeated Carrick (Pittsburgh, PA), 72-61, in a non-league contest.
