Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD), 67-29 in a league match.

With the victory, Thomas Stone upgrades its record to 5-18 on the year.

The Panthers now sport a 1-22 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McDonough for a Southern Maryland match on Monday, February 24. Patuxent will face a Rams squad coming off a 94-37 league win over Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD). The Rams record now stands at 12-10.
