Louisiana High School Baseball - Southside defeats Beau Chene
February 22, 2025: Youngsville, LA The Southside Sharks (Youngsville, LA) baseball trounced the visiting Beau Chene Gators (Arnaudville, LA), 9-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Sharks now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bourgeois for a non-league challenge on Monday, February 24. Southside will clash with a Braves team coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA). The Braves record now stands at 0-8.
With the defeat, Beau Chene drops to 2-6 on the year. The Gators host Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy (Youngsville, LA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 25. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy won 15-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Patterson (Patterson, LA)
