February 22, 2025: Mexia, TX 76667 The Palestine Wildcats (Palestine, TX) baseball trounced the host Mexia Black Cats (Mexia, TX), 10-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cumberland Academy for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 25. Palestine will clash with a Knights team coming off a 11-2 non-league loss to LaPoynor (LaRue, TX). The Knights record now stands at 0-5.
With the defeat, Mexia drops to 1-3 on the year. The Black cats travel to Huntington (Huntington, TX) to clash with the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 22. The Red Devils go into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Huntington won 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, TX)
