February 22, 2025: Frisco, TX 75034 The Wakeland Wolverines baseball squad (Frisco, TX), was overwhelmed 6-1 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Sachse Mustangs (Sachse, TX)
With the triumph, Sachse moves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Garland (Garland, TX) to confront the Owls in a 6A Region II District 9 contest on Tuesday, February 25. The Owls come into the contest with a record of 0-3.
The Wolverines now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prosper for a non-league contest on Monday, February 24. Wakeland will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Lovejoy (Lucas, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 3-0.
