The Beaver Bobcats basketball squad (Beaver, PA), was nudged 51-49 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Laurel Highlands Mustangs (Uniontown, PA)

With the victory, Laurel Highlands advances its record to 18-6 on the year. The Mustangs travel to South Park (South Park, PA) to meet the Eagles in a WPIAL 4A 3 battle on Wednesday, February 26. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 17-6. South Park won 59-44 in their recent non-league battle against Central Valley (Monaca, PA)

The Bobcats now own a 17-7 record.
