Texas High School Softball - Kilgore succumbs to Timpson
February 22, 2025: Kilgore, TX 75662 In Saturday's non-league test, the Timpson Bears (Timpson, TX) softball team routed the host Kilgore Bulldogs (Kilgore, TX), by a margin of 15-1.
The Bears now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elysian Fields for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 25. Timpson will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Shelbyville (Shelbyville, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-7.
With the loss, Kilgore moves to 1-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Waskom (Waskom, TX) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 25. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 3-2. Waskom lost 14-1 in their recent non-league battle against Hughes Springs (Hughes Springs, TX)
