Michigan High School Basketball - Oxford holds off Royal Oak
February 24, 2023: Oxford, MI 48371 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Oxford Wildcats (Oxford, MI) and the visiting Royal Oak Ravens (Royal Oak, MI), saw Oxford's basketball squad hold off Royal Oak by a tally of 47-43.
With the victory, Oxford improves its record to 18-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Lapeer (Lapeer, MI) to confront the Lightning in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 1. The Lightning come into the challenge with a record of 7-14. Lapeer lost 54-29 in their recent league challenge against Powers Catholic (Flint, MI)
Next up, the Ravens confront the Mumford Mustangs (Detroit, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 1. Royal Oak will attempt to improve on its 13-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 45-39 non-league loss to Cass Tech (Detroit, MI).
