Fans at Monday's league test between the Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC), witnessed Myers Park's lacrosse squad top South Mecklenburg by a count of 17-4.

The Mustangs (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC). The Yellow Jackets enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Fort Mill was overwhelmed by Charlotte Country Day School (Charlotte, NC), 23-3, in a non-league test.
