In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Clayton Comets basketball squad scored a nice 59-49 victory over the Holly Springs Golden Hawks.

With the victory, Clayton advances its record to 16-10 on the year. The Comets travel to New Bern (New Bern, NC) to face the Bears in a non-league match on Thursday, February 26. The Bears enter the match with a record of 17-5. New Bern won 52-49 in their recent league contest against D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC)
