New Mexico High School Basketball - Los Alamos nips Moriarty
February 25, 2023: Los Alamos, NM 87544 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) and the visiting Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM), saw Los Alamos's basketball squad hold off Moriarty by a tally of 56-52.
With the victory, Los Alamos improves its record to 19-7 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to Valley (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 3. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 16-11. Valley lost 36-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Pintos play the Artesia Bulldogs (Artesia, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 3. Moriarty will attempt to improve on its 16-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 18-8 record after their 41-37 non-league win over Portales (Portales, NM).
