February 25, 2025: Rusk, TX 75785 The Rains Wildcats (Emory, TX) softball routed the host Rusk Eagles (Rusk, TX), 10-3 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Wildcats now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rowlett for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 27. Rains will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 18-0 league win over Naaman Forest (Garland, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, Rusk moves to 6-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Hughes Springs (Hughes Springs, TX) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league outing on Thursday, February 27. The Mustangs come into the outing with a record of 4-3. Hughes Springs won 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Beckville (Beckville, TX)
