The West Rowan Falcons baseball squad (Mt. Ulla, NC), was edged 7-6 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC)

With the triumph, Lake Norman moves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Sun Valley (Monroe, NC) to confront the Spartans in a non-league contest on Friday, February 27. The Spartans come into the contest with a record of 0-0.

The Falcons now possess a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mooresville for a non-league battle on Friday, February 27. West Rowan will face a Blue Devils team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to North Stanly (New London, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-1.
