In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Covenant Day Lions baseball team scored a close 4-3 win over the Ben Lippen Falcons.

The Lions (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC). The Lancers go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record.

Next, the Falcons play the Northside Christian Academy Crusaders (Lexington, SC) in a SCISA AAAA Region I game, on Tuesday, March 4. Ben Lippen will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Crusaders go into the game with a 2-1 record after their 14-8 non-league loss to Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC).
