February 27, 2025: Pharr, TX 78577 The Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Javelinas (Pharr, TX) baseball trounced the visiting Santa Rosa Warriors (Santa Rosa, TX), 11-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Javelinas now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 1. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest will clash with a Wolverines team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over St. Joseph Academy (Brownsville, TX). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-2.
With the defeat, Santa Rosa drops to 0-3 on the year. The Warriors travel to Progreso (Progreso, TX) to clash with the Red Ants in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 27. The Red Ants go into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Progreso lost 19-9 in their recent non-league challenge against La Villa (La Villa, TX)
