February 27, 2025: Baton Rouge, LA 70807 Plaquemine Green Devils (Plaquemine, LA) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Scotlandville Hornets (Baton Rouge, LA), 20-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Plaquemine upgrades its record to 6-2 on the year. The Green Devils travel to West Feliciana (St. Francisville, LA) to play the Saints in a 4A District 6 game on Thursday, March 6. The Saints enter the game with a record of 1-4. West Feliciana lost 15-5 in their recent non-league game against Central Private (Baker, LA)
The Hornets now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to False River for a non-league game on Thursday, March 6. Scotlandville will play a Gators squad coming off a 17-0 non-league loss to Zachary (Zachary, LA). The Gators record now stands at 2-5.
