The Cushing Bearkats baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host All Saints Episcopal Trojans to 5 in the Bearkats non-league win on Friday.

The Bearkats now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gladewater for a non-league test on Friday, February 28. Cushing will play a Bears team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Union Grove (Gladewater, TX). The Bears record now stands at 5-2.

With the defeat, All Saints Episcopal drops to 1-4 on the year. The Trojans travel to Frankston (Frankston, TX) to play the Indians in a non-league test on Friday, February 28. The Indians go into the test with a record of 3-1. Frankston won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Cushing (Cushing, TX)
