The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) and the visiting Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC), observed Ashbrook's basketball team knock off Northeast Guilford by a score of 79-60.

The Greenwave (25-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 15-10 record. In their last challenge, Central Davidson prevailed over Concord (Concord, NC), 50-42, in a non-league challenge.
