In Friday's non-league test, the Portage Indians (Portage, IN) basketball squad trounced the host Hammond Morton Governors (Hammond, IN), by a score of 86-65.

Next, the Indians clash with the Chesterton Trojans (Chesterton, IN) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 7. Portage will attempt to improve on its 18-5 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 16-8 record after their 52-40 non-league win over Culver Academies (Culver, IN).

The Governors (7-17) will now prepare for their test against Crown Point (Crown Point, IN). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 19-2 record. In their last test, Crown Point bounced Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN), 65-36, in a non-league test.
